We can also refer you to a supplier of oilfield polyethylene products such as spill trays and dual wall produced water storage tanks.
Engineered, specified chemical storage is a very serious business and it is essential to have
the right tank for the right job. Since there are very diverse material options available, there
are many essential variables that need to be considered to ensure that the appropriate tank is
being specified.
1. What chemical is being stored?
2. What is the concentration of the chemical being stored?
3. What temperature will the chemical be stored at?
4. Will the chemical be stored indoors or outdoors?
5. How will the tanks be filled and emptied?
6. Are multiple tanks going to be connected in series?
7. Site conditions: are there any site specific circumstances that may an effect on tanks?
(weather, height restrictions, desired footprint of the tanks, etc…)
Once all of this critical information is compiled, you can be confident that the chosen material is truly compatible with the product being stored. The next step in the process is determine the style and orientation of tank that is suitable to the environmental and site specific circumstances of the project.
