Tank Lids, Bulkheads and Accessories
We aren't a tank manufacturer ourselves, but we do stock one of Canada's largest selections of tanks lids, bulkheads and accessories to service tank manufacturers and suppliers.
Manway Covers (Lids) and Rims
Constructed of Black High Density Polyethylene, these Man-Way covers are available in three different configurations: closed, with Inactive Vent or with Air Breather. A closed cover has no opening in the center. A cover with Inactive Vent has a plug in the center which can be removed to fill the tank. A cover with Air Breather also has a removable center, but unlike the Inactive Vent, the Air Breather has two barrels which allow air to flow in and out of the tank. Man-Way covers are installed by mechanically attaching the support ring to the tank and then screwing the lid into the ring. Available in F.D.A approved resins as well.
These lids are available in 8", 12", 16" and 22" diameters.

Bulkheads
A Bulkhead Fitting is a special plastic fitting to provide a watertight seal through a plastic container or a flexible pond liner. This fitting allows full flow of water and the ability to attach flexible pipe with the use of a male adapter. The fittings have left handed threads to keep the fitting tight when installing the male adapter.
We carry two brands of bulkhead fittings - Banjo and Winnipeg Plastics - both of which are available in sizes ranging from 1/2" to 4"
Banjo bulkheads are noticable thicker and we consider them to be a more "premium" bulkhead. Banjo bulkheads are often better suited for chemical applications and can also be purchased fabricated out of Stainless Steel.
Winnipeg Plastics bulkheads are what we consider our regular duty bulkhead. These bulkheads are still very well made with stringent threads that do not skip when tightened and are perfectly suited for water and wastewater tanks.
Tank Flanges and Other Fittings
Anti-Vortex Fittings are designed to prevent swirling when cone bottom tanks are being emptied. By preventing swirling the user can reduce instances of pump cavitation.
The patented Bolted Bottom Drain tank flange is unique to Banjo. This incredible fitting sits on the outlet of a tank and allows for full drainage of the liquid from the tank. Available in sizes ranging from 1 inch to 3 inch, this Bottom Drain tank flange fits most cone bottom and chemical inductor tanks, 30 gallons or larger.
Bolted tank flanges are an easy way to get a sealed, threaded fitting through a thick tank wall. These flanges are available with longer bolts and have thread sizes that range from 3/4 inch to 3 inch.
Polypropylene Class 150 ANSI flanges are a glass reinforced polypropylene flange ranging in size from 1 inch to 4 inch that can be threaded to any NPT thread such as a polypropylene nipple to make a flange to flange connection on tanks. These fittings are idea for connecting plastic tanks to flanged valves and manifolds.

Sometimes is just isn't possible to get a bulkhead or tank flange to the bottom of the tank, you need to incorporate a siphon tube to ensure more complete drainage. The siphon tube threades onto the inner thread of a bulkhead or tank flange and projects towards the bottom of the tank.
Vent caps allow you to vent your tank with a reduced risk of spillage or contamination. A vent cap is normally threaded onto a bulkhead fitting installed on the top of the tank.
